I’ve been making wines in the East since starting Benmarl Vineyards in New York state in 1970. I invite you to try my current wines from Chaddsford -- the largest winery in Pennsylvania and currently the only one to have received national recognition and acclaim. Visiting the Winery
Our tasting room is open seven days a week, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. On Saturdays we also host Reserve Tastings with our high-end Portfolio Collection wines at 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00 p.m. Throughout the year you will also find a wealth of special events, concerts and festivals including our annual Memorial Day weekend Brandywine River Blues Festival, the Brandywine "Big Bang" BBQ over the Fourth of July holiday, our "Summer Nights under the Stars" Friday night outdoor concert season and the Labor Day Weekend Jazz Festival. Check our web site for many other fun activities! During the warm weather months you may also picnic on our beautiful outdoor deck and patio and the winery's scenic grounds.
