Winemaker: Tom Campbell
In 1998, Tom Campbell, one of Washington’s winemaker originals teamed up with his nephew, Bijal Shah. Their first label named Darighe is an exquisite Bordeaux-style blend that is considered the flagship of the collection. The second label, a hearty 100% Merlot called Maghee was followed by the Dussek Cabernet. The taste of these three labels traveled quickly; building a “cult wine” reputation resulting in many tasters clamoring to find more.
