Ross Valley Winery: winery information

Winemaker: Paul Kreider (red varietals) and Michael Durphy (white varietals)

Both Paul and Michael started winemaking separately as amateurs in the 1970's. Hobbies grew, wines won awards, and eventually Paul 'bonded' his garage in 1987 to make the effort commercial. Michael was associated and helped out in between his duties as a psychiatrist. Paul's career as a HR consultant ended in 2000 with the crash of the dot coms, and he moved the operation to a public space in his town.

Annual Production: 1,200 cases

We purchase grapes from growers who grow for us, some relationships go back 25 years.
