Winemaker: Russell Raney

A 1974 graduate of Westminster College (MO), Mr. Raney completed studies at the State Technical School for Viticulture & Enology in Bad Kreuznach, Germany in 1977. After a 6 year stint working in the retail and wholesale wine trade in St. Louis, he relocated to Portland, Oregon to begin the search for suitable Pinot Noir vineyard sites in the North Willamette Valley, ultimately settling in the south end of the Eola Hills in 1986. His wife, Mary, and he also co-own the vineyard & winery and have one son, Aidan.
